Riyadh will host the Global Airports Forum 2026 on 30 November and 1 December at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center, positioning the Saudi capital once again at the center of the global aviation conversation.

The scale

The forum is expected to bring together some 10,000 global attendees, 300 international exhibitors, 300 speakers and more than 1,000 Saudi and Middle East buyers, with participation from around 100 countries — making it one of the region's most significant gatherings for airport development, operations and investment.

Why it matters

The event arrives at a pivotal moment for Saudi aviation. King Salman International Airport — the 57-square-kilometer mega-hub designed to handle up to 185 million passengers annually by 2050 — is moving into new infrastructure tender packages, while Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport now ranks among the world's top-performing mega airports and targets 90 million passengers annually by 2030.

Against that backdrop, the forum's agenda spans airport capacity and connectivity, aviation sustainability, security by design, biometrics and AI-powered operations — the themes defining the next era of airport development in the region and beyond.
